LDC recognises that training is an essential ingredient for
the continuing success of the company. To obtain our objectives in Quality
Assurance, Health and Safety, Technical Awareness and Profitability,
training must be given the highest priority.
We have an established Training Policy and review all our staff on
a regular basis. Our aim is to identify individual requirements and
implement a programme of training.
The Directors and Managers are expected to actively pursue Continued
Professional Development. Courses organised by the Landscape Institute,
the Building Federation, BALI and other associated organisations are
attended on a regular basis.
All site employees, including subcontractors, are required to attend
technical skill courses and health and safety courses, for example National
Proficiency tests, CITB Certificate of Training tests and 'Tool Box
Talks'.
We are developing an in-house training system. LDC's library of working
methods and landscape details allows us to set a company standard for
all operations.
The training structure is a continual cycle ensuring all our employees
receive the correct training and development on an ongoing basis.
Please contact Nigel
Prince if you require a copy of our Training Policy or
an example of our Training Records. |
